Charlie Puth shares “The Way I Am” Music Video

This morning, pop superstar Charlie Puth released the music video for his third single “The Way I Am”, which is from his sophomore album Voicenotes, which was released this past May via Atlantic Records. The album claimed a spot at #4 on the Billboard top 200 chart, making Voicenotes Puth’s highest-charting album to date.

“The Way I Am” is the first track on Voicenotes, and makes quite a statement (as does the video). The song talks about feeling misunderstood and not feeling the need to explain yourself for being who you are. The music video paints the picture perfectly – it follows Puth through a house party where it shows people rushing around him and having a good time while he’s off spending time alone.

The video perfectly captures the reliability of the song lyrics and what it feels like to unapologetically be yourself.
