The Chainsmokers Annouces North American Tour with 5 Seconds of Summer

After releasing a song together, The Chainsmokers and 5 Seconds of Summer announced to fans that they would be going on a tour together this upcoming fall. The “World War Joy” North American tour is set to kick off late September in Ohio and wrapping up in Vancouver in December. Fans took to twitter to hash their excitement about the tour.

They are joined by rising pop star Lennon Stella who will be opening the show. Each show is guaranteed to tell out based solely on the fact both 5SOS and The Chainsmokers each have a huge following and adoring fans who want to see them live.

Plus an added bonus maybe both groups will get together and perform their new song “Who do You Love”  together at the shows. That’s something we would love to see live. Each group brings something different to offer to their performance and stage presence. It will be interesting to see them tackle a tour together coming from different music genres.

Tickets go on sale Friday February 15th at 10am local time at livenation.com. The Chainsmokers are also offering a VIP package to fans that include a premium seating option along with a Q&A with Alex and Drew as well has an invitation to soundcheck and specially designed merch! Be sure to get tickets as they will go quick!
