Billie Eilish Sweeps Again: iHeartRadio Music Awards 2020 Winners

Throughout Labor Day Weekend, iHeartRadio announced the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards winners. The award show was originally supposed to be held back in March, but was cancelled. In place of the live show, iHeartRadio revealed the winners in an on-air and social media special including video acceptance speeches from fan favorites like BTS, H.E.R., the Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, and more.

Billie Eilish was the biggest winner of the year, bringing home four awards: Female Artist of the Year, Alternative Rock Song of the Year, Alternative Rock Artist of the year, and Alternative Rock Album of the Year. Her popular song “Bad Guy” and debut album when we all fall asleep, where do we go? helped her bag these titles. Her brother and producer Finneas also took home an award for Producer of the Year.

Also recognized in the alt-rock category was SHAED as Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist. She is best known for her song “Trampoline,” which also won an award in the socially voted category for Best Remix with Zayn Malik.

Other big winners with three awards were Luke Combs and Post Malone. Combs won Country Artist of the Year, Country Album of the Year for What You See Is What You Get, and Country Song of the Year for “Beautiful Crazy.” Post Malone was recognized as Male Artist of the Year and Most Thumbed Up Artist of the Year, as well as received Most Thumbed Up Song of the Year for “Sunflower” with Swae Lee.

Popular artists Taylor Swift, Elton John, Lizzo, DaBaby, Drake, Ozuna, and Juice Wrld also took home some pretty big awards. The late Juice Wrld was awarded with Hip-Hip Album of the Year for Death Race for Love.
