New Music Monday: New Politics
This week’s New Music Monday is a Danish rock band from Copenhagen. This band also has a mix of punk rock and dance rock. Not to mention they are quite the energetic trio you definitely need to see live.
New Politics consist of lead vocalist and guitarist, David Boyd, bass guitarist Soren Hansen, and drummer Louis Vecchio. New Politics formed in 2009 and you might be familiar with their songs like “Harlem” and “West End Kids”, which is off their recent album Vikings, released on August 14, 2015. They also have toured with bands such as Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Why is New Politics our New Music Monday?
New Politics energetic and you can tell just by listening to their songs or if you have seen them live at their shows, you know what I’m talking about. They are not only lively, they are also having fun doing what they love, which is making music and performing. If you haven’t checked out their new recent album Vikings, go listen to it right now!
