Jeremy Zucker & Chelsea Cutler release brent ii

Jeremy Zucker & Chelsea Zucker have done it again with the release of brent ii.

The pair has released their highly anticipated second ep together, brent ii. We all know and love these two as individuals but when they come together to make music, they always manage to create something indescribable.

Apart they are magical, together they make some of the most beautiful music you’ll ever hear.

brent ii  breaks musical boundaries.

The five track EP features 3 songs together while each has one of their own. We feel the order of songs is important on albums and these two did not let us down with the order of brent ii. Each track flows right into the next so perfectly. Each time these two collaborate on a song, ep or any project together, there are no boundaries, they fill their songs with emotions, show their vulnerability and they manage to do it in an honest, and breathtaking way.

The lead single “this is how you fall in love” is such a beautiful story, sung so perfectly. The way Chelsea and Jeremys voices just mesh well together makes us constantly want to repeat the song over and over again.

Second on the EP is “parent song” which just by the title we could tell how meaningful the song is. One of our favorites on the EP, it tells a sincere story, when you listen imagine growing up, and playing this thinking of those special people in your life.

“emily” sounded like it should be dedicated to a special person in someone’s life. The way it tells a lovely but almost sad love story makes us wonder where the inspiration came from.

Jeremys song, “brooklyn boy” is so amazing that we were having trouble to find words to describe it. You can hear the pain, and vulnerability in Jeremys voice in this song. He really allowed himself to open up and let us hear how he is feeling.

Chelsea’s song, “the stars” is a very relatable song, but not in an obvious way. When we first listened we knew right away there was such strong emotion behind the song, you can literally hear it in her voice. To us, it was a perfectly constructed love letter.

The way these two are able to create a project together, but still have their own special touch on it, shows just how amazing and creative they are not only together but apart as well.

brent ii is now available on all streaming sites.
Give it a listen here and let us know what you think!
