“RARARA” – Matt and Kim Are Back with a New Single!

After putting out a handful of covers in early 2021, Matt and Kim released their newest single “RARARA” today.

This indie-pop, electronic duo has been together since 2004. Not only are they bandmates, they are also dating and have been since the inception of the band.

Matt and Kim have been on tour worldwide but they are originally from Brooklyn, New York. You probably know some of their hit songs like “Daylight” and “Let’s Go.” They are also known for their high energy shows. Kim has sustained knee injuries on stage while drumming and dancing not once, but two different times. One of the times she actually tore her ACL but still managed to go on tour just a few short months after the incident. This duo is unstoppable.

It’s hard to listen to any Matt and Kim song at a low volume. This includes their new single, it feels like it should be blasted through the speakers. It makes you want to get up and move. 

Throughout quarantine, Kim has been showing off her artistic side even more. Her instagram is dedicated to her showing off what she recently painted or sculpted. The duo has still managed to put out music through the pandemic and we can’t wait for what else they have in store for us.

They already have 6 full-length albums out. The last one being ALMOST EVERYDAY which was released in 2018. Hopefully a new album and a tour is in the works!
