Everyone Should be a Die Hard Fan of Cali Reed’s “Die Hard”

Cali Reed is anything but singular. Her Instagram bio is evident of that which displays a long list of the many hats she wears, singer, songwriter and producer among them. Part of the artist’s multiplicity comes from the constantly changing environment growing up. She moved often from city to city, gaining new exposure with each move.

However, with each departure and arrival, music came with her. Reed comes from a line of entertainers, so singer and songwriter came naturally. Her producer hat came at age 16 when she was first introduced to producing and vocal engineering and noticed the lack of female representation. Since that encounter, the artist has taught herself to master the art of music production and has become a female musical force.

Now based in Vegas, Reed’s music is as eclectic as herself. Her sound incorporates the styles of rock, EDM and hip-hop to make a unique noise and her influences include Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliot and Avril Lavigne, to name a few. Reed’s multiplicity comes together seamlessly in her newest single “Die Hard,” released today (August 27).

The song is a raw and soulful piece with a music video released to match.  The music video depicts Reed in a Wonderland-esque setting. She begins in a room filled with clocks before running through a door that leads to more magical and colorful rooms.  Watch the music video below.
