PHOTOS: YUNGBLUD – Cleveland, OH – 2/5/22

There is not a single thing we love more than a good old rock show here at Beyond The Stage and that is exactly what YUNGBLUD gave us this weekend at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio! With more energy and excitement than a kid who snuck ice cream for dinner, we knew we were in for a treat!

YUNGBLUD opened the set with his hit song, “strawberry lipstick” which got everyone hyped for this night they will never forget. While there were many songs from his newer album, weird!, were played, we were also lucky enough to hear a few older songs like “I Love You, Will You Marry Me?” and “Anarchist”. The most incredible part of the show had to of been when it was time for the song, “I Think Im OK” which features, Cleveland’s own, Machine Gun Kelly. Though Kelly was not in attendance, the crowd took it upon themselves to make it known how proud they are of him and how awesome the song is.

It truly is incredible to see a current artist bring similar energy to the stage like Iggy Pop, David Bowie and the countless others who took the stage at CBGBs back in the day. YUNGBLUD would fit right in if the New York City club was still open today. You definitely will not want to miss out on this tour if it is coming near you!
