Beyond The Stage: Introduce yourself and your role in the band.
Gin War: My name is Brandon and I play guitar and I sing
BTS: How would you describe your sound to someone who hasn’t heard it before?
GW: Pop music being pulled through a barrel of dirtBTS: What kind of music would you say influenced GIN WAR’s sound?
GW: We pull influence from bands like Weezer, Lemuria, and Cheap Girls. These are just to name a few – we draw from all over

BTS: Is there an environment that you prefer to write in?
GW: Somewhere safe

BTS: What song are you most excited to play live from the Piece of Moon EP?
GW: Most excited for Cement, Trip, Silent Movie, Still Mine, and Can’t Survive

BTS: What makes you the most nervous when it comes to releasing new music?
GW: What if the songs come out and it’s not the right songs, and people just love it. What then? Do we say “yo there was this wild mix-up, these ain’t our songs” or do we just go with it and learn those songs and tour them? Then it’s like, where did these songs come from? Is anyone looking for them?

BTS: If you could plan your dream tour, who would be on it?
GW: Taylor Swift, Saves The Day, and GIN WAR

BTS: What’s your dream venue?
GW: The moon

BTS: What’s one song on your iPod that might surprise people?
GW: John Mayer & Keith Urban LIVE @ The Crossroads

BTS: If you played in a different genre, what would it be and why?
GW: Show tunes, maybe. Give me a shot on Broadway. Who doesn’t like a big finish?

BTS: What’s next for GIN WAR?
GW: Steamrolling Piece of Moon, touring with long time road dogs in Modern Lives from Mass, and taking over the world
