Stalking Gia Is The “Saddest Happy Girl”
NYC based alt pop artist Stalking Gia is exploring future-related pressures in her new single “Saddest Happy Girl”. The single samples the classic nursery rhyme “Clementine” – a sticky melody you’re bound to recognize.
With clever lyrics, the song has light moments of being carefree while having that dark cloud looming over your head – a relatable concept many experience.
Stalking Gia has been teasing her catchy tune a lot on Tiktok, gaining much attraction.
Over the years, Stalking Gia has achieved much success, starting in 2016 with her single “Second Nature”. It received a whopping 13.2 million streams on Spotify, and you may recognize it as a sample in blackbear’s hit single “Wish U The Best”. She even got to tour with the artist and duetted with him on “Miracles”.
After releasing with Epic Records, Stalking Gia has returned to her independent roots, growing her own image as an artist. We can’t wait to watch her soar!
