Take a Road Trip With Skofee’s Single “Wind Up Hero”

Rising LA pop artist Skofee is here with a new killer music video, taking us on a wild road trip journey. “Wind Up Hero” is a silky, sultry song with a sticky chorus that’ll leave you singing and dancing along.

Skofee created the song after jotting down a misheard quote from a friend. The song was written from the perspective of the Wind Up Hero – a character Skofee dreamt up. She described the hero to be a figure that’ll never let you down, no matter what.

Skofee pulled some inspiration from her own personality. She admitted that she, herself, puts others first even when she doesn’t have the emotional capacity to do so. If she’s in a bad place, she’ll still gives her friends her all which can sometimes be draining. She feels like this is a superpower.

Matching the aesthetic of the song, the video has a vintage feel and features Skofee dressed up as the Wind Up Hero. It’s shot in a dessert scene and follows the story of a road trip gone wrong.

Skofee’s sophomore EP, Joyland, is aiming to premiere in late 2022, and we cannot wait to see more from her innovative mind.
