sunsetto Collabs With Calabasas

Toronto-based artist/ producer sunsetto is back with another single, this time in collaboration with Calabasas. “on the side” is an alt-R&B track with lo-fi pop beats, showing what sunsetto knows how to do best.

LA-based duo Calabasas (Kanye West, Marc E Bassy) made a great addition to the song production wise, giving it a more vibey, electronica sound.

The single has a music video, as well. A creative piece of art, the visualizer takes you into sunsetto’s world of color.

The song has an interesting motive, entertaining the idea of staying on the side when the person you were with finds somebody new. He was inspired by the concept of love and possession and describes the song as fun and light.

sunsetto first stepped into the scene in 2021 with his debut single “don’t leave”. Since then, he has released quite a few singles. His debut EP is scheduled for later this year.
