Michigander Releases New Single “Emotional” Announcing Self-Titled Debut Album

Indie rock artist Michigander has released a brand new single “Emotional,” giving a glimpse into his debut album. This single marks the second from his highly anticipated, debut, self-titled album Michigander.

“Emotional” is a synth-heavy, groovy track that shows the strength in vulnerability and perseverance. Singer-songwriter Jason Singer says, “The song is about trying to progress as a human in spite of being human. I think most people are just trying their best, and that’s all we can really do.”

Along with the release of “Emotional” comes a lyric video directed and edited by Tyler Appel.

Celebrating the arrival of their upcoming self-titled album, Michigander begins their US tour tonight in Cincinnati, Ohio. The tour will continue across the country, ending in February 2025.

Michigander is a 12-track album expressing everything of the last decade of their career. Singer says “To make an analogy, the EPs were like television episodes of my story, and the album is the movie version. It’s blown up on the big screen. I’m just getting started, but this is my introduction to the world.”

Michigander tracklist includes:

Broadcast

Emotional

Peace of Mind

Giving Up

Letterman

Breaker Box

Spitting Image

I’ll Be OK

Michigander, the album, is set for release February 7, 2025 and is available for pre-order now. As the tour kicks off tonight, tickets are still available here!
