Weekly Recap – 5/29

  • 1. Pierce the Veil’s Misadventures debuts at #4 on the billboard charts, selling 54,000 units. This long-awaited release proved that their fans are still very much interested in this band despite them not having new music out in over 3 years. Their 2012 album, Collide with the Sky, debuted at #12 with 27,000 sold. This just shows that dedicated touring and promotion pays off!

  • 3. Matty Healy of The 1975 took to Twitter to express his feelings about the latest campaign for the EU Referendum and it’s similarities to his band’s well-known aesthetic. While, of course, he did not invent neon signs… the extreme similarities have sparked an interesting conversation.
