Daya Announces Debut Album ‘Sit Still, Look Pretty’

She’s famous for her popular hit ‘Hide Away,’ but Daya isn’t hiding away from the music world anytime soon. It was just announced that the ‘Hide Away’ singer will be releasing her debut album Sit Still, Look Pretty on October 7 via Artbeatz.

You’ve become well acquainted with her voice from this years dominating Chainsmokers single ‘Don’t Let Me Down,’ but this time she’s making her own mark with the title track of her debut LP, which is surely climbing the charts in a big way.

“I have been working tirelessly on this record for almost a year now. It’s the most authentic representation of me as an artist so far, and each song carries a piece of me,” she says. The album will feature 6 of the songs that appeared on her debut EP, plus 8 new tracks.

The album was produced by Gino ‘Farrago’ Barletta and co-written with Leland, responsible for Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighborhood.
