Niall Horan Releases New Song “This Town”

One Direction’s Niall Horan surprised us today by releasing his first solo single “This Town”. The song was written by Horan, Jamie Scott, and Daniel Bryer. It was also announced that Horan signed with Capital Records.

The song seems to be about coping with someone who has moved on to someone else and still wanting to be with that person. The acoustic track is definitely following the footsteps of Ed Sheeran and Jamie Scott, which is accompanied by a black and white music video with Horan playing the guitar.

Horan is the second member of One Direction to release a solo single, while member Liam Payne has plans as well to release solo work.

“This Town” is available on iTunes and streaming on Spotify. Check out the music video below.
