Keith Urban to Headline Nashville New Years Eve Bash
It’s official! Thursday, October 6, Keith Urban announced that he will be headlined the free Jack Daniels Music City Midnight: New Years Eve. The country superstar will be leading an all star, multi-genre celebration.
The lineup for the event includes popular band Styx; indie band Moon Taxi; country newcomers A Thousand Horses; Charlie Worsham, along with the Fisk Jubilee Singers. It’s going to be a star-studded event that will start in Nashville at 6 pm at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
“I actually love playing on New Years Eve – I’ve done it most of my life,” Urban tells the Tennessean. “So when they invited me to ring in 2017 here in my hometown, it was an immediate yes. I’ve lived here now for 24 years, so I know how Nashvillians know how to party and every year this one just gets bigger and bigger — so we’ll be bringing it.”

This performance is Urban’s second free show in Nashville this year. He will also be playing a sold out show at the Bridgestone Arena on November 11. The country superstar is also up for 4 major CMA nominations, including Entertainer of the Year.
