#DontTwiddleYourThumbs Trends on Twitter While Fans Donate to Ryan Seacrest Foundation:

Sabrina Carpenter has done it again by inspiring her fans. She’s been taking on the world with her empowering new single “Thumbs”. While promoting the song, the Disney songstress has also been keeping busy by helping charities such as the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and Do Something. It’s incredible to see how inspiring one person can be, at least her fans think so

Carpenter posted a photo on Tuesday, January 4 of her signing love letters for Do Something’s campaign to combat isolation in Seniors. The photo inspired many fans to do something as well to help spread positivity and to make a difference in someone else’s life. They did this by creating the #DontTwiddleYourThumbs hashtag, and with much support from several other fans around the word, the hashtag began to trend all over Twitter.

 

Tanya Rad of On Air with Ryan Seacrest started the hashtag by posting a video and gave her coworkers roses and love letters.

After several people posted, fans began to use the hashtag to help out the Ryan Seacrest Foundation by getting donations. They also created a GoFundMe account, where many can donate as well.

Since the hashtag went viral, Sabrina found out about it and thanked her fans for spreading love.

What a great way to help others. Thanks Sabrina for inspiring many to spread love and hope.
