Next up from this week’s Artist of the Week, The Catching are premiering their brand new single, “Mastermind”, with Beyond The Stage! Check out the New Jersey natives in their newest pop-rock endeavor, and keep an eye out for the rest of their features this week!

“’Mastermind’ is about a controlling or manipulating relationship/person. I wrote it about a former friend that was always taking but never giving and yet I was still putting their needs first. Any friendship or relationship like that never really goes anywhere positive. The song was kind of a release of emotions after being fed up, spurring the lines ‘what do you want from me?’. Friendship is a two way street for a reason and I wanted to tell my story.” – Holden, vocals/bass
