Callie Reiff Takes Us on a Ride in New Single “What Ifs”

Today, Callie Reiff released her hot new single “What Ifs” featuring Australian singer-songwriter Louella. It is a lively and vibrant dance track that is sure to put you in the rave spirit.

Reiff explores the ups and downs people go through and questioning how the future will pan out. In a press release, she explains:

The past year has been tough for everyone and we have all been ‘surviving on the what ifs’ and grappling with not knowing how things will pan out.”

Just like the inspiration behind the song, the music itself complements the up and down, roller coaster experience. She starts off with a calm, sustained rhythm. But you can feel the tempo rising and rising to the chorus in which Reiff goes crazy with bass-heavy sonic sound elements that will blow the roof off.

She’s got us begging for EDM concerts.

This single comes after dropping her two previous songs, “The Kids Are All Rebels 2.0” and “Crash Into Me (ft. Madison Daniel).” Both are amazing songs that showcase her intricate and unique production work.

The electronic DJ is going in a new direction with her music. She’s moving towards more sonic sound while still incorporating the dubstep roots that she’s known for.

At just 21 years old, Reiff already has an impressive resumé under her belt. She’s performed at festivals such as Creamfields, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Ultra. What’s more, is that she made history as the youngest DJ to perform at Webster Hall.

She started off as a young prodigy who’s been evolving each year. As she continues to move in this direction of blending the sounds of electronica and indie-pop, which she coins “indie club,” Reiff is going to be a name that we’ll see a lot more often.

She’s on to something special with this one. Everyone better lookout.
