Casper Sun’s new project is finally here!

The promising young artist released his album, Sunshine Radio, today and it is the perfect project to cap off your summer. Sun brings a perfect mix of lush pop, hip-hop while also blending electronica and rock elements to create this fun and lively project. The vibes are strong in this album and we are here for it.

There is a lot to love from this 11-track LP. You can enjoy the chill vibes in “Wavy Luv,” “Chill W U,” and “Sunshine Radio” to the energetic, pop-rock sounds in “Prblms” and “Mercury Glider.” It has a perfect balance of vibrant summer days to chill nights.

This album is all about capturing that bright, summer feel. In a press release, he talks about what this project meant to him.

“‘Sunshine Radio‘ is really about taking a lot of the happiness and sadness I experienced over summer and condensing it to a form that I could understand and process on my own whenever…The album is filled with the shimmer and shine from a poolside reflection, the sweetness of an iced pink lemonade in the middle of August, and yet tinged by the midnight blues and hues.”

His songwriting is something that’s unique on its own as he writes with pure emotion and authenticity. Sun gains inspiration from his own heartbreak and struggles. It’s a sort of self-therapy for him.

We definitely get that here throughout the entirety of the project. He gave it his all and more and it is an impressive debut showing from the California native.
