Charlie Puth Shares New Single, “Girlfriend”

Thursday, June 25th, Charlie Puth released his latest single, Girlfriend. The “Attention” singer-songwriter and producer released his last batch of singles back in October of 2019 and came back with a fun Pop tune reminiscent of a classic, 80’s groove & soul bop.

According to Atlantic Records, “Girlfriend” is Charlie’s biggest debut EVER. The single debuted at #15 and then climbed to #4 on the iTunes charts.

Charlie tweeted days before it’s release, “Girlfriend is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made.”

Alongside the release of his single, Charlie Puth also released a music video for “Girlfriend”. The music video has already racked up over 2 million views since being released this past Thursday. The music video follows Charlie prepping a dinner date for his special lady-friend by preparing a gourmet spread while dancing and prancing around his house.
