FINNEAS Channels the Season of Giving With New Holiday Single

‘Tis the season for yet another beautifully written single by FINNEAS. Ringing in the holiday spirit, the singer released his first Christmas single titled “Another Year.” Aside from collaborating with Billie Eilish, one of the biggest names in music right now, FINNEAS has managed to curate his own singles that have been incredibly successful. “Another Year” was released on December 1st and has already been streamed on Spotify almost 300,000 times. The song has also manifested itself into a new piece of merch featuring pertinent lyrics and some festive mistletoe.

The single is incredibly delicate with an emphasis on the complementary relationship between the piano and FINNEAS’ vocals. His vocals are hauntingly beautiful and illustrate a picture of Christmas that makes you feel like you’re snuggled around a fireplace watching a Charlie Brown special. Essentially, this song is a source of comfort at a time where all of us are lacking any.

The singer had spoken about the single in hopes that it can provide comfort to listeners amidst the pandemic. The lyricism in this song is both humorous and heartwarming. Nodding towards the lack of snow in Los Angeles, where the singer currently resides, is his ironic jab at the feeling of Christmas being undermined without any snow. The song has all of the classic hints of a wholesome Christmas song we all know and love, and it is heightened by his incredible attention to detail as a producer. Hopefully, the release of this single and three additional songs this year means we will be hearing a lot more of FINNEAS’ beautiful voice next year.
