Jack White’s Surprise New Single “Battle Cry”

This week, Jack White dropped a surprise new song titled “Battle Cry”.  His first release in three years, “Battle Cry” is mostly instrumental, aside from some “hey!” chants.  The song is full of angst-filled guitar riffs and thunderous drumming, and it seems like a great warm-up song to listen to before a game or while working out.

Fittingly, White and Third Man Records revealed that the song will actually be used as walk-up music for the Detroit Tigers’ player Ian Kinsler, who co-owns a baseball bat company, Warsic, with Jack White.
