The Killers Share Emotional Video for “Rut”

Whether it’s a performance at a music festival or an intimate show, The Killers continue to impress us with their sound and vision. From their most recent release, Wonderful Wonderful, “Rut” has resonated with fans around the world and has created a wave of songs that mean more to fans than ever.

Today, the band shared their latest video complement, inspired by lead singer Brandon Flowers’ wife. Flowers detailed his wife’s struggles with PTSD earlier this year with SongExploder, citing a few tracks that were written for her, in her eyes and even to help her get through tough times. “Rut” is one of those tracks.

Directed by Danny Drysdale, “Rut” chronicles a young girl, her battle with depression and how she battles her illness.
