Welcome back to this week’s New Music Friday! Alright besties, we’re in for a wild ride this weekend enjoying the new array of hot music released this week. This week’s guide is compromised of new music from Red Hot Chili Peppers, The 1975, Bronze Avery and more!

“Say Goodnight” by Bronze Avery

This genre-bending, alternative R&B track has an infectious beat and is part of Bronze Avery’s debut album, SOFTMETAL — arriving November 17. 

 

“Eddie” – Red Hot Chili Peppers

The song is reminiscent of RHCP’s nostalgic sound and goes along perfectly with the psychedelic album cover of Return of the Dream Canteen releasing on October 14. 

 

“Strange Encounters” – Bendigo Fletcher

This heartfelt track full of raw emotions feels like a wise, old friend telling you the greatest story of their life. This single comes with the announcement of their new Wingding EP, releasing on October 21 via Elektra Records. 

 

 

“All I Need To Hear” – The 1975

A soft track that shows a yearning for a special love to say those three silly little words that mean so much. 

 

“Diarabi” – Vieux Farka Touré, Khruangbin

Khruangbin and Vieux Farka Touré have come together to release a collaborative album and this is our favorite track so far. The vibes that this song emits is true to the chill and spiritual nature that both artists are known for. 

 

“Inner Peace” – Yellow Days

This track is not so different from Yellow Days’ previous work but exemplifies the wavy and groovy sound that this artist is definitely capable of. This track is also the title track for Yellow Days’ newest EP, Inner Peace, which is out now!

 

“Ilusión De Amor” – Jensine Benitez, Thee Sacred Souls

This perfect ballad, released earlier this week, is beautifully crafted and you can hear it upon first listen. Jensine Benitez’s vocals alone are nothing short of amazing. 

 

“PERFECT PACE” – Asha Imuno, Amaria

The production on this track is really well done and compliments the bars and vocals done by Asha Imuno and Amaria. 

 

“myname” – Denyah

Produced by Lentebloom, this track is soft like a cloud, yet upbeat and has a rhythm that’ll get your body moving.

 

“Willing To Trust” – Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla $ign

This track is a part of the soundtrack for Kid Cudi’s upcoming show on Netflix, Entergalactic. This collab track is the perfect mesh of soothing vocals and hums that make us excited to hear the rest of the soundtrack that is releasing on September 30, alongside the premiere of the show.
