Lido Releases New Single “Rise”

Norwegian producer and singer Lido released the third single, “Rise,” off his sophomore album PEDER last week. The expansive electro-pop song tells the story of new love and infatuation, alongside a sonic landscape of irresistible hooks and pulsing synth beats.

Alongside the single release, Lido dropped a music video for “Rise.” The singer wanders a desolate planet, a galactic backdrop in the distance as he plays piano in the vast expanse. This follows the theme of previous singles, as the forthcoming PEDER is a concept album. Based on the story of a young boy born on a spaceship without music, the album will follow the boy as he embarks on a search for music.

Known for his production credits with singers like Chance the Rapper, Halsey, and Banks, Lido has amassed prolific song credits since his debut in 2011. Now with over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Lido’s solo trajectory continues to climb.
