MUSIC NEWS: Jack Antonoff Announces Festival, “Shadow of the City”
Starting in late July, Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers will be heading out on tour with Charli XCX for an epic co-headlining show that is sure to please fans from all across America. However, one of the dates on this tour is a bit more special than the others–September 19, 2015 “Shadow of the City.”
“Shadow of the City” is a music festival that Antonoff has put together with the help of his management team based on his love of his home of New Jersey.
Speaking to Rolling Stone Antonoff says, “New Jersey is part of who I am. I’ve always thought it would be the perfect place for a festival.”
The show will consist of eight artists (including tour-mate Charli XCX) who will all play on one stage in the Asbury Park on the legendary Stone Pony Stage. The festival is not just strictly a music festival though: it will feature the best of New Jersey’s music, food, art, and plenty more.
