Indiana natives Houndmouth brought their funky rock-pop blend to Brooklyn Steel in NYC on Tuesday night. The band is currently touring in support of their album Golden Age and the California Voodoo EP, both of which were released last fall via Reprise Records. Throughout their set, Houndmouth displayed fabulous musicianship – from every harmony to every guitar solo, they were perfectly in sync. Each song the band played was better than the last – bringing more and more energy and electricity with every note. The crowd was feeding off of every ounce of energy they were putting out, screaming and dancing along to every drumbeat.
Houndmouth’s live performance was unparalleled – they are absolutely one of those bands who are even better live than recorded. Their infectious stage presence and eclectic discography make their performance so fun for all in attendance.
