There is no better way to start out a month than with seeing an artist that will blow you away. That is exactly what we did earlier this month as we headed out to Detroit, MI to see Poppy on February 1st.

After checking out Poppy’s new album, I Disagree, we knew we were in for a treat when we saw her. Her setlist featured every song from the album so each and every fan there was in for a treat, no matter what their favorite song was. Not only did she perform every song from I Disagree, she also performed a few older favorites and an amazing cover of “All The Things She Said” by the band T.A.T.u.

Poppy opened her set with the first song she released from the album cycle, “Concrete”. From that moment on, there was not a dull moment in the crowd. All of the fans screamed along to each and every song throughout the night as they watched Poppy perform her heart out. You could really tell that she is really proud of the album that she has just put out.

After Poppy and crew finish the US portion of the I Disagree Tour, they head off to Europe to show everyone what they are made of. Next up for her is a summer tour with Deftones and Gojira which she stated on Instagram was a dream come true for her. We can not wait for that tour!

You can keep up with all things Poppy by following her on Instagram and Twitter. You can also check out our Instagram and Twitter while you are at it.

Did you see Poppy on tour? Are you planning on seeing her on the Deftones tour?
