If you’re trying to forget about all your woes and witness some amazing live music, heading out to see The Greeting Committee on their headlining tour is where you need to be. Front-woman, Addie Sartino, is a force to be reckoned with. The whole band is a force to be reckoned with for that matter, but Sartino‘s stage presence is unlike any other we’ve ever witnessed before. The Kansas City natives played to a sold out crowd at Brooklyn’s iconic Mercury Lounge. The energy the band emitted was bounced back to them, tenfold, by the crowd of adoring fans. They managed to make the small Lower East Side venue feel like a huge show, down to stage presence alone. For the band’s first headliner, their set was over an hour long and the energy in the room never faltered. The group are touring until the middle of June, and if they’re coming to a venue near you, they’re not the be missed!
