Rex Orange County Stuns With WHO CARES?

Today, English singer-songwriter Rex Orange County dropped his fourth studio album, WHO CARES?. The album comes three years after his immensely successful last one, Pony, and the new release is everything we’ve been needing from the artist and more.

Rex Orange County is an alternative-indie artist whose lyrics, vocal range and musical style differentiate him from anyone else. His songs continuously delve deep into raw emotion and a sort of passion that we, as listeners, can appreciate. At just 23 years old, the artist has already achieved quite a bit of success and we only anticipate that he will grow from here.

Prior to today’s release, the singer unveiled three singles from the album. The first, “KEEP IT UP” was released in late January. It was different from the Rex Orange County we were used to due to its more upbeat nature, but nonetheless, it was still a great track and a fantastic way to make his return.

On Valentine’s Day, “AMAZING” was released and gave us some insight into what we could expect from WHO CARES?. Just two days ago, he actually released “OPEN A WINDOW (feat. Tyler, The Creator).” Back in 2017, Rex Orange County joined Tyler, The Creator on two tracks from the artist’s album Flower Boy, one of them–“Boredom”–is one of his biggest songs of all time.

We can already tell that this album is going to be very well received. It is just what we needed from the artist after being gone for the last few years and we’re so excited to have some new material to listen to. “SHOOT ME DOWN” and “7AM” are two of our faves from WHO CARES?. Let us know what your favorite song is from the album!
