“With music, I have the ability to express who I am,” said Rowland. “My forthcoming EP is going to be called You Know Who U R because it’s written by me, and is about me and my interactions with people in my life. Songwriting gives me a way to express myself and my feelings that I can’t find in acting.”

The singer/actor is known for his role as Ty Townsend in Netflix’s Steel Magnolias. Forbes recently named Sweet Magnolias one of the top 10 most-watched Netflix original series of 2020. Rowland will get to continue this exciting moment in his acting career, as the show was picked up for a second season, and is suspected to be filming this year.
