Selena Gomez Shares “Lose You To Love Me”

After facing practically every obstacle in her path, Selena Gomez is still staying strong. Now, the singer is back with a brand new track titled “Lose You To Love Me” and an accompanying music video, which pulls at her fans heartstrings and shows Gomez’s true potential.

“Lose You to Love Me” is a ballad that may have come as a surprise to fans, with light instrumentation and Gomez’s sweeping vocals over the top. Co-written with Julia Michaels, the track is clearly an emotional battle, with the first verse sharing the struggle of a relationship.

“You promised the world and I fell for it / I put you first and you adored it /Set fires to my forest / And you let it burn”

Gomez’s vocals shine above the light instrumentation and although simple, her voice clearly contains emotion and authenticity throughout the song.

Now, “Lose You To Love Me” gained an additional video component, which shocked fans everywhere.

After just 48 hours, the video has already gained the #1 Trending Spot on YouTube and has gained more than 26 million views. While a simple concept, the video is emotional and is a clear companion to the track.
