You Me At Six Premiere “Night People” and Announce Album Release Date
You Me At Six are finally back! On August 10th, the band started to tease fans about their new album, “Night People.” Since then, they’ve tweeted various pictures with lyrics to the song of the same name. They’ve also announced a small UK and Ireland tour, where they’ll be playing small, intimate shows.
Today on BBC Radio 1, they premiered the song, and singer Josh Franceschi and drummer Dan Flint talked about the new record.
The song is definitely reminiscent of their album “Sinners Never Sleep.” This particular song has a harder rock tone to it. The time the band took to put together this record really shows in this song. Even with just this one song, it’s easy to hear how much the band has improved sonically and lyrically.
Dan and Josh announced that the record will be available January 13. The album is available to preorder on their website.
