Sofar Sounds Announce ‘Give A Home’ in Support of the World’s Refugees
Sofar Sounds has teamed up with Amnesty International for a global event called “Give a Home” to raise money for over 20 million refugees worldwide.
During this day of live music on September 20th, over 1,000 musicians will play at more than 300 small, intimate shows hosted by people in their homes, in 200 cities around the world. Just like other concerts with Sofar Sounds, fans will enter to win tickets by selecting the city and/or act of their choosing. People are then encouraged to make donations, which will go to Amnesty International to help with protecting the human rights of refugees and migrants.
Artists performing at Give a Home include The Mowgli’s, Frank Turner, Grouplove, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, and more.
Amnesty International is an organization that supports fundamental human rights for all people. Find out more about their work here.
