Tate McRae Shares “rubberband” Track + Music Video

“rubberband,” the latest track from rising pop sensation Tate McRae is here! After her global success with “you broke me first” the singer is back with another new track and accompanying video.

In a little over a year, McRae has completely taken over the pop world, with her music streamed more than 400 million times on Spotify alone, earning her placement on some of the platform’s biggest playlists.

Today, the singer shared her new track, “rubberband,” which paints another vivid picture for the listener as they understand the pains of a breakup or just general heartbreak. Just a few days ago, McRae teased the release on Instagram with a short clip. In a few short words, McRae shared “snapping a rubberband is a way to get over something…. sometimes even a person. this song means a lot to me, i hope you guys love it.”

Additionally, McRae released the music video, directed by Black Lake. In a colorful, emotional and futuristic, McRae’s dance skills shine through, once again confirming her power as a triple threat in the music industry.
