Twenty One Pilots Break Their Silence

“Are you still sleeping?”

After months of silence, this is the note that Twenty One Pilots sent fans this morning in an email. The surprise email also included a gif of a closing yellow eye, which is similar to the gif sent exactly one year after the band announced their hiatus using the lyrics, “and now I just sit in silence.”

The band has not yet officially announced any plans for new music, but clearly something is on the horizon. Will it be a new single? A new album? A tour announcement, perhaps? Check out some fans’ reactions here:
