VIDEO: Here’s To Never Growing Up – Avril Lavigne

In the brand new music video for her current single, “Here’s To Never Growing Up”, Avril Lavigne takes her fans to prom! The nearly four minute clip, directed by Robert Hales, opens with Avril singing the song’s chorus into a megaphone before she is seen performing in a dress and tiara with her band. At one point, the drunk adolescents decide to ditch the dance floor to cause chaos in the school. They waste no time destroying furniture, making a mess of the classrooms, and trespassing a closed pool. Throughout, you can kind Lavigne represent her last four albums, more specifically, her debut, Let Go. At the 2:09 mark, the singer can be seen skateboarding down the hallway in her signature punk look from 10 years ago! White tank top, tie and all. It’s a great visual that perfectly ties in with the whole “staying forever young” mentality.
