Zayn Announces Title and Date of Upcoming Album
Zayn has announced the title and release date for his upcoming third solo album. The album is titled Nobody Is Listening and will be released this Friday, January 15th, 2021.
This announcement was made along with the release of Zayn’s new single, “Vibez”. The song and music video of which dropped last Friday, January 8th. The music video of this smooth, sexy R&B track has already garnered over 11 million views on YouTube.
Zayn dropped the first single off the album back in September with the release of “Better.” The song peaked at #89 on the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release, which is impressive given it had no promotion and no radio spins. It has over 58 million streams on Spotify.
This past Monday, January 11th, just a day before his own birthday, the R&B artist decided to gift fans and tweeted nothing but a phone number.
When dialed, a voicemail from birthday boy Zayn can be heard instructing listeners to dial a number to get a preview of music from the album ahead of its upcoming release. The tweet caused quite a buzz, getting 565.2K likes 125.7K retweets.
From this, we can guess that there are at least nine songs plus his two singles on the project. If “Vibez” and “Better” is any evidence of what the album will sound like, then we are in for an R&B infused experience.
