Squid recorded the studio version of “Fugue (Bin Song)” with longtime collaborator and famed post-rock producer Dan Carey at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studio in spring 2022. In a release, the band said the recording was ultimately left off their second studio album O Monolith in June 2023. Watch the official visualizer for “Fugue (Bin Song)” below.

Squid is also starting up a month long North American tour next week. From February 2 through March 1, they’ll hit the road with New York City’s Water From Your Eyes. That duo of Rachel Brown and Nate Amos, who released their latest studio album Everyone’s Crushed in 2023,  will play with Squid on all 18 of their tour stops across the US and Canada. Tickets for those tour dates are available here. Scroll to see which cities and venues they’re performing in.
