Samantha Crain Shares New Single and Announces Massive 42-Date Global Tour

Singer and songwriter Samantha Crain is having a big week. She’s just released a new single called “Ridin’ Out The Storm.” The song debuted on KEXP radio earlier this week. Watch the track’s official visualizer below. Today, Crain also announced a massive global headlining tour for spring and summer 2025. She’ll play 42 dates across North America, plus the EU and UK. Keep reading to see a full list of tour dates.

“Ridin’ Out The Storm” is a five-and-a-half minute americana pop-rock track. It’s a dusty and dynamic tune. There are strings, whistles, twangy guitars plus Crain’s slick voice.

“I was watching this TV show called The Great one night and this one line caught me,” Crain said about the new song in a release. “I’m sure it is based on some older, canonical text but, basically, it was this: ‘Let it go. It is a storm. They will never stop coming, but pass through and away. They always will.’ To me, that seemed like the best way I could sum up the gist of living and I wanted to write an expansive song about how that has played out in my life.”

“Ridin’ Out The Storm” is Crain’s second single in the last few months. She shared the song “Dragonfly” in September.

Samantha Crain’s global headlining tour begins in May 2025 with shows in her native Oklahoma. Those dates kick off the North American portion of the tour. Crain will head overseas to the EU and UK in May for shows in countries like England, France, Germany and the Netherlands. She’ll then come back to North America, spending the rest of summer 2025 playing shows there.

Tickets for all of Crain’s upcoming shows go on sale Friday November 22. Purchase tickets here.
