Alabama Shakes Announce First Tour in 8 Years

Alabama Shakes, the unlikely independent rock band that rose to superstardom in the 2010s, have announced their first tour in eight years. The band is made up of solo GRAMMY award-winning singer and guitarist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg and bassist Zack Cockrell. Their tour begins in July. Scroll down to see a full list of shows.

Alabama Shakes reunited on stage in late 2024 after several years of silence. The group have released two full-length albums to date: Boys & Girls in 2012 and Sound & Color in 2015, the latter of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and won a GRAMMY for Best Rock Album. Sound & Color’s hit track “Don’t Wanna Fight” received a GRAMMY award for Best Rock Song.

The Shakes’ upcoming tour will feature a number of opening guests, including Lee Fields, Shannon And The Clams, Sam Evan, the Budos Band, and El Michels Affair. Presale begins Tuesday, February 11 at 10 a.m. local time and general ticket sales begin Friday, February 14 at 10 a.m. local time. A link to purchase tickets is available here.
