Babe Rainbow Share Music Video for New Track “Aquariam Cowgirl” and Reveal U.S. Tour Dates

Australian psych-rockers Babe Rainbow have shared a single called “Aquarium cowgirl,” the newest song to be released ahead of the group’s upcoming album Slipper imp and shakaerator.

Fans might agree that the band’s latest effort is as psychedelic sounding as the song’s name suggests. According to Babe Rainbow singer Angus Dowling, the track is an acid-pop take on a spiritual journey.

“Aquarium cowgirl’ is the dreamcatcher kinda song off the album,” said Dowling in a release. “It’s about my own personal spiritual awakening and all the learning in that. Sometimes we feel uncomfortable and struggle to know what to say. Like, we forget there are other ways of seeing reality outside our usual perspective.”

The trippy new track comes complete with a music video. Watch it below.

Babe Rainbow have already shared the singles “LONG LIVE THE WILDERNESS” and “Like Cleopatra” from Slipper imp and shakaerator. The record is out April 4 on King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s p(doom) records. Pre-order a copy here.

Speaking of the band working with King Gizz, Babe Rainbow have shared a run of U.S. tour dates for August 2025.
