Bar Italia Surprise Drops EP Featuring Three New Songs

One of the quickest-working contemporary rock bands just released new material again. Bar Italia shared a surprise EP called The Tw*ts on Wednesday. The release is their third formal record drop in just over one year.

The Tw*ts features four total songs, three of which are brand new. The three new tracks, “The Only Conscious Being in the Universe,” “Saricoustica” and “Drumstart” were originally intended to be b-sides to the fourth track, “Sounds Like You Had To Be There,” which appeared on Bar Italia’s November 2023 full-length album The Twits. According to a release, all three of the new songs were recorded immediately after The Twits was completed. Keep reading to check out the cover art for The Tw*ts.

Bar Italia released another album called Tracey Denim in May 2023. The band has now shared two LPs and one EP in under 13 complete months.

All three of Bar Italia’s members perform vocals on their records. They are made up of singer Nina Cristante plus singers and guitarists Sam Fenton and Jezmi Tarik Fehmi.

The band promoted their 2023 releases by going on a large North American tour in December. They are currently geared up to play Australian and European shows through the end of 2024. Scroll down to see a full list of dates.
