Dream, Ivory Announce New Album ‘When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You’

Dream, Ivory have announced a new album called When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You, the group’s first full-length record since 2022’s About A Boy. The new LP will be released on July 18 and features a new J-pop inspired single, out today, titled “Solar Eclipse.” Watch the official music video below.

“Solar Eclipse” follows two singles Dream, Ivory have shared in 2025, including “At Zero,” “Lost Ageless” and the 2024 track “Bullet Train.” Scroll down to view the full When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You tracklist. Pre-save the album here.

“Solar Eclipse is a song that tells the story of two lovers destined to reconnect,” said Louie Baello, who performs in Dream, Ivory with his brother Christian. “We wanted to explore a concept from nature as they find their way back to each other, using the idea of an eclipse to capture that emotional journey.”

When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You is inspired by many things, both instrumentally and thematically. The band has noted that their early success drove them to addiction and isolation. The group became mega popular with the song “welcome and goodbye.”

“We just didn’t really give a fuck about creating in that moment,” said Christian Baello. “There was just no inspiration in our lives. Instead of writing, we’d get shitfaced drunk. It was bad. We’d record a riff, then take a shot.”

Christian Baello has since recovered, is declaring himself sober, and has moved back in with family. That sort of lifestyle change lends itself to being the biggest innovation the group has taken ahead of this new record.

Dream, Ivory also have a number of upcoming tour dates in 2025. Scroll down to check them out. Ticket information is available at this link.
