BTS: What inspired your single “F U Anthem”?
Leah Kate: I was pissed at someone the day I wrote the song. I thought to myself, I wish I had a fuck you anthem to blast and get all my feelings out. So, I sat down and made one.
BTS: What was shooting the video for “F U Anthem” like?
Leah Kate: So fun- I shot with the best girl gang ever! I love doing work with all females.
BTS: What is your favorite song on your What Just Happened? EP and why?
Leah Kate: F U Anthem! It just speaks to me on so many levels. The emotions behind the lyrics are real and what I was truly feeling at the time. It’s definitely my favorite song to date because of that.
BTS: How has your life influenced your music this far?
Leah Kate: All of my music comes from true events in my life. I like to display genuine emotions and write from real experiences.
BTS: How would you describe your sound overall?
Leah Kate: Honest, empowering pop-rock with a touch of funk and disco!
BTS: What is your favorite part about being an artist?
Leah Kate: I think getting others to feel something is so rewarding. I just want to empower and inspire listeners.

Leah Kate: Going on tour next year. And touring the world forever!
