Jahnah Camille Shares Single “summer’s scorch” from New EP Ahead of Tour With Blondshell

Jahnah Camille has shared a new single called “summer’s scorch” ahead of a jam packed summer schedule. The budding artist, who has roots in Birmingham, Alabama, will release her second EP My sunny oath! June 13 via Winspear. Camille will serve as the supporting act for Blondshell’s tour in the coming weeks building up to the EP release. Check out the official visualizer for “summer’s scorch” below.

Camille pairs her strong vocals with raw instrumental performances from guitars, pianos and even a fiddle on “summer’s scorch.” The song is a showcase of many musical elements and offers a glimpse at Camille’s complete songwriting capabilities. “I wrote it about a crush that I never even talked to,” said Camille. “I was just like, ‘Would I be able to keep myself? Can I be trusted with a romantic relationship?’”

The My sunny oath! EP will feature two of Camille’s other singles: “sit with you (pain)” and “what do you do?” The EP was produced by Alex Farrar. Pre-order and pre-save a copy here.
