Jason Derulo is taking his career to new heights with the shiny new single “Lifestyle”. Derulo incredibly marketed his name on TikTok in 2020. His song “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” became the beat for thousands of TikTok dances. Now, he is elevating that momentum with the help of Adam Levine in their new single.

It’s not a Jason Derulo song without hearing him say his name at the start. The beat is poppy enough for people to groove along with. It would not be a surprise if this tune is added to the library of TikTok dances.

While Jason Derulo is the soul “Lifestyle”, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine is the highlight of it. Levine has been known to feature on popular songs as far back as Kanye West’s 2004 song “Heard ‘Em Say” and Gym Class Heroes’s “Stereo Hearts” from 2011.

His Sting-like essence brings the sexual aggression to the lyrics. It’s the skill he’s had since his early Songs About Jane days. His addition was wise based on his vocal personality and popularity. When he sings, “I’m a Rolling Stone,” we already know it’s because he has the moves like Jagger.

This song is for the fancy girls and Derulo is ready to woo them over. Whether it be through TikTok dances or his own grooves, he has enough to back up his talk. Jason Derulo is promising a new height in his career by using social media to his advantage. TikTok can serve as a major platform for artists to market their new music. The interactive app allows its users to make videos along to songs, therefore putting a high emphasis on the music aspect.
