Former BTS cover star Lennon Stella shared her debut album Three. Two. One. with fans today. It was a long time coming for Stella, who has been working as an actress and musician for most of her life. Three. Two. One. is a perfect debut, and not only has a healing sensibility to it but is a beautiful ode to her past and the experiences she went through that got her to this point. The record has an indie-pop sensibility, with tinges of R&B mixed in which means there’s something mixed in for everyone to enjoy. Upon the album’s release at midnight, Stella took to Instagram to share her gratitude and the levity she felt knowing the album was out in the world for everyone to enjoy.

I have genuinely never felt anything like how I feel right now. I feel truly leveled and flooded with this zen sense of ease. Going and going to get to this exact moment and then just letting it fly out and setting it all free and not being able to take it back. Like the deepest inhale and exhale I’ve ever taken. the messages you guys have been sending me… I feel so understood and so much more connected to both you and myself than I ever have or ever thought possible. Thank you for giving me that. For everyone involved in the making of this album, you have all the love in my heart. The co-writers and producers, thank you for being so open and creative. I feel so lucky to have found a tribe so early on who I can make music I truly love with. To @genevievejthompson and @iamjswan and to @thejennaandrews and @columbiarecords , @recordsco thank you for trusting in me and working relentlessly on making sure everything ran smooth. @double_c23 and @aidanzamiri for making all my visual dreams come true. I am forever grateful. I think right now more than ever, we all need somethin to cling to…something certain and stable that won’t go changin on us.. I hope these songs can be that for you. Now yours to keep for eternity❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
In addition to releasing Three. Two. One., Stella shared the music video for “Older Than I Am” with fans. The song is an emotional ballad about felling older than you actually are, and missing out on certain parts of the growth process when you are forced to grow up so quickly. The music video is a touching retrospective on her life, with footage of her now juxtaposed with footage from her childhood. It’s the perfect accompaniment to the album’s story and debut.
Stella got her first taste of working in music through the TV show “Nashville,” which she was on for six seasons as Maddie Conrad. Since then, she’s found great success as a solo artist with her debut EP Love, Me which was released in 2018. She’s released a slew of singles since leading up to the release of Three. Two. One. that has earned her 15.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Three. Two. One. by Lennon Stella is now available on all streaming platforms.
